Ponies began to appear regularly in my drawings around 2006, they are almost always rocking horses or hobby horses. I think they represent the desire for the horse, the dream of the horse rather than the actual horse. Pony-love as opposed to pony club.
These ponies have made their way out of the sketch book into some sort of three dimensionality.
